Pilar Torres-Subire

Pilar enjoys supporting apprentices in their different learning journeys, seeing them grow in confidence and realise their potential.

Pilar worked in a range of people management roles in public and private sector organisations where she developed a real interest in understanding how best to support her team to develop and grow in their careers. A move to a learning and development role within Barclays followed, where as part of a regional team she was involved in a wealth of learning initiatives and projects.

Pilar later joined a local college to support learners gain professional qualifications such as those awarded by the ILM, CMI and CIPD. In this role, she worked with local businesses to design bespoke learning initiatives and coaching programmes, before becoming involved with apprenticeships in HR and management and leadership. Pilar was an HR apprenticeship learning and development coach before moving to Reed Learning where she supports HR apprentices.
