Virtual classroom

A combination of both online learning and live workshops, both from the comfort of your own chosen location, be it at home or the office. All learning and testing materials are supplied to via an award-winning Virtual learning Environment, followed by regular live workshops led by a fully qualified tutor to re-enforce your learning. Each weekly* workshop will last for around 3 hours

What you'll study

This CIMA Professional Qualification (CGMA) consists of 12 modules (nine objectives and three case studies) split into three levels (Operational, Management and Strategic). 

Once you’ve passed all of your exams, you’ll be eligible for Chartered Global Management Accountant status. You’ll also be eligible CIMA Dip MA (operational level), CIMA adv Dip MA (Management level) or ACMA CGMA (Membership) designations at various stages of your course.

Entry requirements

You must have already completed all four subjects in the Certificate in Business Accounting before enrolling on this course. 

AAT qualified candidates, and those with a relevant degree may be exempt from the Certificate in Business Accounting and can begin the course at the Operational Level.

Achieving your qualification

To achieve this CIMA Professional Qualification (CGMA) you’ll need to pass all nine objective tests (90 minutes computer-based) and the three Case Study exams (3 hours each). Exams can be taken at the end of each module.  

Booking your exams 

Reed Business School is a CIMA exam center for all levels of the qualification. Please note, a student must register with CIMA before they can sit an exam. If you’d like to book your exam with us, please complete our CIMA enrolment form.  

If you are not attending one of our courses and you wish to book your CIMA with us, please download our computer-based exam (CBE) dates, complete the booking form and return it to us. 

Your pathway to becoming CIMA qualified

Completing this CIMA qualification typically takes 3 years.

Before we dive into the course units, you’ll complete an induction to help you prepare for the programme and get the most out of your learning. This will involve:
