The duration of the apprenticeship will depend on the level, as each programme is different. See information on each of the apprenticeship standards for the durations.
For some apprenticeships standards studying a qualification is a mandatory part of the programme. This is the case for the Level 5 HR Consultant/Partner where you will complete the CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management during the apprenticeship programme.
For the Level 3 L&D Practitioner, Level 3 HR Support and Level 5 L&D Consultant Partner apprenticeship programmes a qualification isn’t mandatory. However, we understand that some employers and individuals would choose to complete a qualification as part of the apprenticeship, and this is an option that can be discussed.
