Amara Sharif, Cross Company Allyship Programme Lead, KPMG
Amara is a computer scientist turned diversity, equity and inclusion programme manager. She leads KPMG’s trailblazing Cross Company Allyship Programme (CCAP), a mentoring programme for the "global majority".
Prior to joining KPMG, Amara worked at a tier one investment bank running global IT programmes where she also chaired the firm’s Muslim Network that went on to span several countries under her leadership.
Aside from her day job, she is a self-published author who is passionate about increasing diversity in children’s literature. She has recently joined the board at the Museum of Homelessness as a trustee. In 2023, she scooped up the Asian Women of Achievements Award in the social and humanitarian category, a testament to her passion for all things diversity, equity and inclusion.
Nick Ross, CEO and Founder, Guider
Nick is the Founder and CEO of Guider, the world’s leading mentoring and peer-learning platform. He brings over a decade of experience in this space, a passion for learning and development and, having previously scaled an employee engagement platform, a core understanding of the need for bespoke software to modernise and transform learning and development (L&D).
Nick is also an accredited coach and mentor with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, combining both skill sets to create Guider.
Naomi Boachie-Ansah, Digital Design Manager, Clyde & Co
Naomi works for global law firm Clyde & Co as a Digital Design Manager where she leads a team in applying design thinking and human-centred design to digital learning experience solutions. She has a broad range of expertise in learning, graphic, multi-media and UX/UI design.
Prior to working for Clyde & Co, she worked in multimedia and digital learning development for King’s College London, spent a few years doing charity work and worked as an art director and graphic designer in retail marketing in the US.
As part of Naomi’s role at Clyde & Co, she led on the rollout and continued management of their global mentoring programme via Guider. Since launching their first general mentoring programme, she has supported the launch of reverse mentoring and partner-to-partner mentoring programmes.
Both inside and outside of work, Naomi has been involved in mentoring throughout the years and is passionate about the power it can have to change lives.
Chris Adcock, Managing Director - Technology, Reed
Chris has worked at Reed for over 18 years in several positions, from resourcer to managing director of technology. With most of his career focused on IT recruitment, he has opened offices, grown regions, and taken businesses through large transformations. Chris has a passion for people and their motivators and prides himself in leading a high-trust, high-performance culture.
Reed’s technology recruitment division also runs a women in technology mentoring programme. Established in 2019, this 2,500 member-strong community was created to support women in technology and transformation to achieve their goals, ambitions, and through partnership with employers, create better pathways into technology.
