How can individuals influence behaviour and attitudes to have a positive impact on organisational culture to help retain talent?
In the first of a series of panel discussions, tackling the challenges of retaining female tech talent, we are working with Virgin Media O2's We Care network to look at the challenge of women leaving the workplace to become unpaid carers.
"We Care" is an employee-led initiative focused on supporting unpaid carers within the company, offering resources and flexibility to help employees balance work and caregiving responsibilities.
Through this panel discussion we want to raise awareness of the disproportionate number of women leaving the workplace, mainly focusing on the reasons that pertain to caring responsibilities.
It’s everyone’s responsibility to make the workplace an equitable and inclusive environment, not just leaders and policy makers.
