Now’s the time to ensure your business remains up to date with the latest HR trends shaping the workplace.

As working conditions across the UK adapt and develop with every passing year, HR professionals continue to play a pivotal role in navigating legislation changes.

Employment law is extremely dynamic, jurisdiction-specific and subject to frequent legislative and case law developments – making it all the more important that HR leaders stay up to date with the latest changes that may affect their business and entire HR functions.

Join Reed and our guest speakers Michael Delaney and Rebecca Fox, both partners and employment lawyers at law firm VWV, as we examine the latest HR trends and any changes to policies and practices you may need to make to keep your business thriving.

During this face-to-face event at the VWV office in London, we’ll be reviewing recent cases, and examining topics that have come to the fore over the past 12 months, to help shape your HR strategies moving forward. This event provides a great opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and share best practice within the HR space.

Our speakers

Michael Delaney, Partner and Employment Lawyer, VWV

Prior to joining VWV, Michael headed up the employment team at Matthew Arnold & Baldwin LLP for 14 years, and is an active member of the firm's healthcare and life science practices. He advises on all aspects of employment law, primarily for employers and senior executives involved in contentious and non-contentious issues.

He regularly appears before the employment tribunal as an advocate, and in the last 12 months his cases have involved unfair dismissal, sex-, race-, and age discrimination, whistleblowing, enforcing restrictive covenants as well as TUPE regarding the outsourcing of commercial contracts involving healthcare.

Michael has a broad general employment practice and acts for a wide range of commercial businesses requiring employment support. He also works closely with the firm's healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. His specialist interest is in the field of restrictive covenants and confidentiality arising from the ending of employment.
