It’s widely acknowledged that bodily changes in the years around menopause may raise the risk for certain health problems.
During menopause, hormonal changes can affect neurotransmitter levels, brain function and structure, leading to symptoms such as short-term memory loss, brain fog, headaches, lack of focus and concentration.
A proper and specific nutrition plan provides the brain with essential nutrients that support cognitive health, enhance mental clarity, and stabilise mood.
Watch the recording above to hear from registered nutritionist Lily Samuels, Founder and CEO of Lily Samuels Nutrition Limited, as she explored the challenges perimenopausal and menopausal employees face in the workplace and how to ease symptoms through food and diet.
Lily offers advice on how to alleviate the symptoms and offers guidance to HR and business leaders who are looking to support their employees.
